The treatments with the Rx for Bown Skin have been working. But I still have a little patch on left cheek. I think it comes from my thinkign pose I do most of the day. I have to keep my hands off my face.
I'll post a pic when I get home.
God is GREAT! He blessed me in a few ways days before the holiday! He is so good. I was able to give my family a nice Christmas since we were all tight this year. My brother and son were elated at the gifts they got from me as well as some of my outta state friends via amazon. I also was able to get that stupid frivolous Sprint ID theft and Library fines off my credit report. So now I only have less than 4 bad marks to go to have my credit spotless, and right on time for Spring house hunting season. Yes I'm trying again!
Along with this I was able to clear up some medical bill discrepancies which I was scared was going to show up and ruin my credit.

My brother made honor roll this term, my son, he made student of the month! My brother got accepted to the H.S. he wanted, and I have been accepted to the college I was applying to.
All in all my plan is working all thanks to Prayer and devotion.

So I heard this new product on the radio, supposed to be designed by a very good African American woman doctor. She has a published book out on dermatology for colored women.
Lately I been having acne problems. Never had it before in my life, so I was like WTF! So I had to get on this fast! I tried Olay, but it wasn't working. I went back to the face burning nuteagena and Noxzema, they must have watered their product down since 1990's...LOL
So to no avail, I went to sephora on chestnut street here in Philly, cause this was something I didn't feel like waiting to be delivered.
I brought it yesterday, and used it last night and this morning. I already see and feel a difference. All those imperfections that were on my cheeks yesterday are disappearing. Yesterday you could feel all the bumps on my face and know they were there when you looked ta me, today you can run your hand across my face and barely notice they are there, but they are still there! Night 1 and Day 1 has gone good so far. I hope this clears everything up. It cost me like $75.00 for the Bright and clear set!

So I actually went to the shop today. She did a nice job. I wasnt able to get the carmel treatment because my hair was too oily from when I had the braids, but I got the aloe treatment, and will get the carmel treatment next time. Right now I dont see too big a difference, but thats cause most of my hair is permed anyways. I had abot a inch of newgrowth since late october. So we'll have to wait for some more new growth to see the difference.
Okay today is my first official step into investing in my natural hair care. So I searched on some popular natural hair care sites and have found this product. Its called a maxiglide. I first heard from my favorite site creditboards, but then I researched deeper and seen some customer photos, filter what seemed real and what seemed to be a review by a company employee. So I went to Upromise, and typed it in to see where I can get the best guarantee money back and save for my sons college education. So HSN had it really cheap for 69.95 (usually going for $89.95) it has the extra flat plate and 6 other freebies. I paid $9.95 for the 1 year warranty from HSN, which is a not questions asked, broke we replace deal. I used a coupon they offer and got 15% off. So basically I got the warranty free and $3.00 off the actual irons.
So Saturday I will be hitting the natural salon for a Carmel treatment, and then I will see how that turns out. A week later I will receive my irons, wash my hair, see what comes of it, take a picture and then put up a picture of what the irons do for me.

Okay, Saturday will be my first hair appointment at the E'tae hair salon. In my attempts to change my life and go back to being me, I decided I need to start going back to the salon. I need to stop beign cheap and get it done professionally.
I have also decided that perms are no good for me. So I am going natural. Since my hair grows thick and crazy fast when its in its natural state, I figure I can try E'tae and the maxi-glide for a year.
I hope this works! I am going to get a picture of my hair when I take out the braids. And do a before and after for my appointment.
Well this is my first post in a long time. SO here goes...
There are alot of changes in the wind occuring at the end of 2007. This December I will be ending my Fall term at CCP. In May I will be recieving my degree in Business and starting at a new college to get one in management.
In 2007...
Dropped the Engineering dream.
I raised my credit score significantly
I hit my one year mark at my current job.
I left that dumb ass nigaa of a bf.
I attempted to buy my first house.
Saved some money.
Helped others with their credit journey.
Go natural with my hair...no more perms!!!
In 2008...
I will graduate with an AA in Business
I will graduate with a BS in Management
I will buy my first property
I will apply for graduate school.
