Let me just say that I am truly blessed this year. I was watching AES again, waiting to see what happens with my Financial Aid. This is a OCD task because I feel as though, not having experience with student loans from my first college, I have no clue what is happening. So I constantly check on the process. Thank God AES has a way for me to view my status, and keep an eye on what the Financial Aid department at the school has submitted. Well two weeks ago, I had noticed they had a term date error, and something told me it was going to be a problem. Due to me attending two schools at one time, there was an overlap of term dates for the Spring term at CCP where I graduated and the Summer at Rosemont. Well I waited the 7 processing days, though I knew something was wrong, and then I called AES. They told me the term dates were conflicting, and that the Rosemont rep had to call in and get it fixed on their end. Well I emailed on the 11th and called on the 12. Then on the 17 I emailed again, and this morning, the 18th I see an email stating she fixed it. I logged into AES and there it was, APPROVED!!!
So my plan is to take whatever loans I get subsidized or unsubsidized, then when I go to grad school, with the tuition reimbursement I get, I am going to use it to pay off any unsubsidized loans I have, since when I grad the interest from all the years will jump on it. Then I will start paying off my loans while I'm in Grad School.
Hopefully I can finish my MS in Project Management in one year, then go to Temple for the MBA/MHM school after that and be done with college.
Thank you God for blessing me with the vision of my future.

Spruce Hill Financial Aid Errors
Well my dear son was accepted to the school. They sent me a letter telling me that he was in and that he needed all this paperwork done with his doctor and dentist before he was allowed to attend. Everything has been sent in except his dental, because he has to get a crown on his back tooth.
One thing that perturbed me was that they never told me anything about financial aid. On the enrollment packet, I checked off the box that said I was interested in financial aid. So I called like months later and asked, "Whats the deal with financial aid?" Well first off let me tell you how they waited till the 18 to send in Jahair's scholarship he got from the children's scholarship fund of Philadelphia due on the 23rd. And get this, I gave them all the paperwork so that when they signed it they could send it directly to the scholarship. Who did they send it to....ME!!! So I had to find the location of the P.O. Box on Monday morning...21st which thank God was on Broad and Chestnut, and hand deliver it to the post office and ask her to put it in there.
So back to the story...so in that packet contained my 1040. Why if they needed it to process the in house financial aid didn't they copy it? So anyway she's like..."You never got a financial aid form? Well Ill send it out (USPS) and its $15 to process" Damn always a catch! Plus she cant fax it. Some BS, but I'll deal with it.
SO long story even longer, she sends me the thing in the mail. Mind you school is almost out so I have to rush to get it in else they'll give me that...it was vacation and I didn't process it till we got back deal. So I send it out immediately, and its returned with the financial aid amount, which was feasible. On the letter it said "THIS IS YOUR ONLY BILL" and it had the adjusted amount and showed the monthly payments that will be automatically drafted beginning in July....But wait there's more...
They didn't have on the bill the amount from the outside scholarship award. So instead of emailing I called and she was like...Oh...so she told me to fax her the letter of award. And I made a point of telling her, "The scholarship is adjusted by what financial aid the school gives by 25%" That way she doesn't readjust my school aid because of the scholarship, then the scholarship readjust on that...like if the tuition =$5400, and I get $1300 in financial aid...with a 25% scholarship...don't say I owe more than $3075.
So I'm waiting to see what happens, cause the first payment is due in July, and I hope they adjust it correctly.

Face Update
Well, I gave up on the RX for Brown Skin. Didn't really work for me. I wanted to get rid of this damn pimple I have had for years. So I went searching again for something that would actually work. Well I went on Acne.org and found a BP product and ordered it. Well its actually working. The whole right side of my face is now totally clear. The left side is almost clear except for that pesky pimple. I was reading, and some said that if its there for years, it may be something else so I should see a derm. Well right when I started getting paranoid and prepared to call my DR for a referral, the next day it finally formed a head! So it popped!! I have a little mark there now where its healing, but hopefully I can fade that.
So hopefully my face will be clear by august and forward.
I have been on the acne BP treatment for 2 months now.
