When I first spoke to a fellow coworker about the college, I was afraid that it was an Easy A school. When I spoke to others in the courses I have at the Philadelphia Site, I was told that it is very demanding and that they can only do two courses the max at a time to facilitate their time constraints. For the past five months I have taken 4 courses at CCP (Jan thru May) and Five at Rosemont( 1, 2, 2 in five week intervals) with no problem, averaging in the Spring term a 4.0. When I spoke to another student, she said that one teacher gave her a D and another practically failed her. So therefore they give more than A's out!
So initially thought, maybe its just me? After speaking to two teachers, I have found out that it is just me. She stated that my papers are very well written and she can tell that I am graduating soon due to the content and quality of my work.
Yes, I turned Beet red even though she sent it in an email. LOL.
I also found out that it's a very good Management curriculum because I was researching WCU.edu about their graduate Project Management Degree, and wanted to know more about becoming certified as a PMP through PMI. When I went to PMI.org and read some of their sample questions for the certification test, damned if they didn't have some of the context which I learned in my Management 0461 class this term.
So all in all, it may be an easier college for some, but it does give you the information you need to become a professional. It's just how you apply it.
